Volunteer & Community Projects

Saving Pangolins

Some of our Conservation Ambassadors (CAs) banded together to create a short video about endangered Sunda Pangolins. This video was created as part of a collaborative effort with Wildstars, a global not-profit initiative that encourages and empowers youths around the world to generate awareness on conservation and environmental issues.

Have a look at the video below, which also features pangolin keeper Ade and our animal star, Pangolina! You can also check out this page for more information on WRS' conservation efforts.

Getting around in the Zoo

Each year, we celebrate our passionate volunteers and their invaluable contributions to raising societal awareness of conservation issues. Their hard work and passion does not go unrecognized, and culminates in the annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.

In this video from 2017's dinner, watch as volunteers across our parks reflect on their time in the programme.
