[UPDATE, 4 APRIL 2020, 1230H]

We are preparing to close our zoological parks to help the nation curb local transmissions of COVID-19.

Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, River Safari and Singapore Zoo will be closed to visitors from 7 April 2020, in line with the government’s latest directive.

This is the first time that we are suspending operations at our parks. We will focus on looking after our staff, and also the nearly 15,000 animals in our parks which will continue to receive uncompromised care throughout this period of closure.

We know many of you would be concerned about the validity of the tickets and memberships you have bought. We appreciate your concern and we will follow up with an update on Wednesday.

Thank you for supporting our parks. Every visit means a lot to us and helps support the animals under our care. We will miss you, and plan to continue sharing amazing stories about our animal family and their care teams over the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Till we see you again, please do your part and stay home. Together, we will overcome Covid-19! #SGUnited.
