Bird Park Flies to School is an educational outreach programme that brings the Bird Park experience into your school! This programme aims to share the importance of conservation with students through light-hearted chats and engaging specimens that Dr Squawk brings along. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join Dr Squawk as she explores the colourful world of birds! Find out if all birds lay eggs, if they all fly, and how their beautiful feathers help them survive. Get to meet a cockatoo and find out if parrots make good pets.

This programme is conducted in your school.

Local schools only S$ 300 /session

A $300 voucher will be issued to the school upon receipt of payment. This voucher is redeemable for Jurong Bird Park admission charges or in-park educational programme fees for school groups.

Bird Park Flies to School: Flightless Feathery Friends

Join Dr Squawk in her search for flightless birds! Discover how the ostrich, rhea, cassowary and penguin adapt to life on land. Learn about the threats these magnificent birds face and what you can do to help protect them.

Please note: bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. The bird(s) that Dr Squawk brings are subject to availability.

 

  1. For school groups only: For every group of 10 paying students, 1 adult is entitled to join the tour for free. The ‘10:1 ratio’ only applies when schools meet the minimum number of people required
  2. Programme prices include 7% GST but exclude Jurong Bird Park admission.
  3. Prices and programmes are correct at point of communication and subject to change without prior notice.
  4. Group must still pay for the minimum number of people required even if the actual number falls short.
  5. Programmes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make your booking at least 1 to 3 months in advance (excluding weekends and public holidays) to avoid disappointment.
  6. Outdoor learning sessions are weather permitting. In the event of wet weather, the Education department reserves the right to replace the affected outdoor programme with an indoor programme at the staff’s discretion
